The Band was first known as the band Elbowroom.
Elbowroom was a collection of players from 4 other
bands that came together when another band
backed out of a benefit in July of 2008. Lead
guitarist, Billy asked Vince (guitar & sound), to play
along with a bass player, drummer, keyboardist &
another singer.
This group of talented musicians & singers went on
to perform a 3 hour long, hard driving, much
appreciated show without being able to have the first
practice together. By the end of the Benefit this
newly formed band was booked at that venue
immediately for return gigs.
Towards the end of 2008 Elbowroom evolved into
the band BUSHHAWG.
In January of 2009 Catherine and Donna joined in to
add some back-up vocal harmonies.
BUSHHAWG Band plays: Classic, Southern &
Country Rock Covers that “Brings the Heat” while
Delivering 3 Part Harmonies.
The Best Part is that BUSHHAWG wants everyone
to have as much fun as they have during their
performances. The guitarists, bass player and
singers often leave the stage to interact with the
crowd while singing and playing to help make
everyone have an enjoyable interactive experience.
They also have their own Pro Level PA and Gear to
be able to offer small private parties to large outdoor
venues.
